The site for Shadowbane, run by UbiSoft, has been updated with a new War Journal. Here's a short excerpt:
The forces of Compton barreled in like a tidal wave. Their archers sending a volley of arrows at us like rain. Their mages casting incantations that filled the sky like fireworks. And at their lead was the dared Templar Bone Dancer, his "debuffs" crippling our front line of attackers almost immediately. However... the combined forces of Akalabethia did not waiver, nor did we flinch. The forces of Compton are battle hardened... having cut their teeth on many an unsuspecting camper. We were largely untested and unproven... and yet... we showed the courage of true warriors that night. While the brunt of the Inn Group centered our efforts on the dred Bone Dancer, the rest of us began to take strikes at his supporting crew. At our sides were Cinder's Covenant of Swords and Vorgen's Immortal Vengeance... and thus we had three parties of attackers to their one... all engaged in bloody glorious war. The battle waged on... and then... all of a sudden... a few of the Comptonites began to fall... and then they began to run... we were winning! [Winning with still a full reserve guarding our tree!] The forces of Compton were being either slain or scattered. Akalabethia was VICTORIOUS! |
