Troika's Source-powered VtM: Bloodlines has been previewed at EchoPlayer:
Many games take inspiration or draw from licensed material for beneficial means, but Troika Games' forthcoming title, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, is set to be particularly special in what 'sources' it actually draws from. Contextually, the developer has full use to White Wolf's pen-and-paper role-playing series' background material, as it did for its first Vampire: The Masquerade game, but what may attract the majority of people to it, is the technology on which it's built on. Namely, the Source Engine. Just the one developed for Half-Life 2 by Valve, you understand. So from the offset, this provides Bloodlines with a very technologically able background and the opportunity to utilise Half-Life 2's advanced character animation system, dynamic AI, and its robust scripting tools to great effect.
