I just came back from my meeting with CD Projekt to check out their demo of “The Witcher" and I'm really impressed with the game so far, especially in comparision to last year. Located in the Staples Center, the room featured comfortable couches with cool beverages nearby, all facing a large screen. Without wasting time, the demo started out with a slideshow going over the changes they've made since last year, some of which include rag doll physics, perfect for rolling heads, and significant UI effects which I'll talk about later. Next up was a presentation of the E3 movie they released prior to the show which teases you with action glimpses of the game all of which make it hard to recognize anything from the original NWN. I think it's safe to say that "The Witcher" truly is a game all of its own.
