A rather brief interview with François "Flint" Bourdeau, the marketing and communications manager of Vircom, publishers of Black Moon Chronicles, Winds of War, can be found at Gamezone:
Question: Can you explain a little bit about the concept of this online game? How is it different from other clan-based online games?
Flint: “Black Moon Chronicles is based on a very popular French graphic novel, ‘Chroniques de la Lune Noire.’ Its whole concept is based on four factions struggling to rule over the Land of Lhynn. Three factions have joined forces in the Alliance: the Empire, the Order of Light and the Knights of Justice. The other faction, the Priesthood of the Black Moon, seeks conquest, corruption and chaos and wants to take over the Empire to rule over Lhynn.
“The difference in Black Moon Chronicles is that each player gets to play in a faction as a group member, but also as an individual who has his own story to discover. The extensive storyline of BMC brings another dimension to a clan-based game.” |
