In last week's episode, Kytel entered the Quarterstone Arena to complete his quest for High House affiliation. Now, almost two days later he has awoken bruised and battered in the Tollkeepers Hall tavern. A massive blow to his head seems to have resulted in memory loss, since he has no real recollection of the events of the last few days. Judging by the sorry state his body is in, he must have lost the fight in the Arena. It seems thus that his first quest has failed.
