Jolt has kicked up a review of Phenomic's 'Spellforce: Breath of Winter'. The score is 7.4/10 and here's a clip:
If anything, Breath of Winter is even more difficult than its already challenging host game. It adds an entirely new campaign and epic story within the game universe that once again casts you as a recently freed Rune Warrior. As with SpellForce, the story is well detailed and fleshed out. It focuses on the legend of a dragon – in this case a harbinger of eternal winter – that is kept from destroying the lands (albeit unintentionally) by the singing of an Elf maiden. Except that some maniacal sods have kidnapped her and now the dragon is mightily annoyed. Only the Rune Warriors can put things right.
