has rated the following games:

Bloodnet: 8/10 points |
Quite a complex story, so without reading everything it would get dull pretty quickly. Combat is fairly crappy, so the game depends purely on it's story material. Can be quite tough, though maybe worth it for someone who is into the storyline. |
Darkstone: 10/10 points |
One of the most under-rated RPG's (normally by people who are better off playing Quake anyway)! It is a Diablo clone in the respect that it outdoes Diablo except for the automap, and really anal inventory/stats tweaking. Otherwise has the potential to make you never go back with features like:
* Real 3D, only 640x480, but turn on all your AA for better graphics. You can zoom in to shoulder level when you want to hack and slash, zoom out or top view for a different perspective. Two games for the price of one!
* Quest structure is more complex than Diablo (which is namely just 'kill this dude'). Structured around needing a second player to help out at times.
* Add on quests.. some good ones been written on the net for free. Flexible engine.
* and many more...
only cons are a difficult to control view and level progression is fairly linear (but isn't everything thesedays?) |
