RPGPlanet lines up a preview on Diablo2: Lord of Destruction. They like it but wonder like others why this was not part of the original gameAll of the new additions and improvements brought along in Diablo II: Lord of Destruction are sure to attract any Diablo series fan, and possibly gain the attention of the few who haven't experienced these games. There are plenty of new items, and much of Diablo II has been enhanced and improved. Some changes may disappoint certain players, as some items and skills have been changed. It brings players nearly everything they wanted, and a lot more than we expected: two new character classes, thousands of new items, the 800 x 600 resolution, a new Act, and more. However, it is difficult to shake the thought that much of what is included in the Expansion, with a few exceptions (such as the character classes), should have been a part of the original game. |
