We received this press relase from Shrapnel Games, publishers of Runesword 2:

Shrapnel Games to Donate 5% of Sales to American Red Cross
Emergency Relief Fund to Receive Money from Sales for the Next
    Month.

    Cary, NC, September 13, 2001

Shrapnel Games announced today that they will donate 5% of all
product sales from their website to The American Red Cross
Emergency Relief Fund through October 10, 2001. The money
donated will be used to help with the rescue efforts and to provide
assistance to the victims and their families of the recent terrorists acts
in New York City and Washington, DC.

Timothy W. Brooks, President of Shrapnel Games, said, "This is a
tragic time in American history. Our first thought was to shut down
operations for a time, but we realized that this would mean that the
terrorists had won. We believe that continuing the businesses of our
country is important to showing the world that we will not be
intimidated by such cowardly acts of violence. But, we wanted to do
something to show our support for those who have forever been
affected by this tragedy. Therefore, we will donate 5% of all our
online sales, going back to September 11th and continuing through
October 10th to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. Our
prayers and sympathies go out to the victims and the families of those
    affected by this disaster."
