The game received a rating of 3 out of 5 gems, and this rather friendly conclusion: Even though at times Grandia II was a bit too easy, as I carried around all those resurrection potions for nothing, and a little predictable, I still enjoyed it enough to play through to the end to see all the loose ends tied up. Will I play it again? Who knows? Maybe I'll just wait for the next young, brash hero who is too tormented to love again, to come down the pike.
