Remember the game you heard about a while back, with the humans pitted against the enemy faction known as Thrax, using the paths of mind, body, spirit to fight? For those who do, and were likely excited to see Richard Garriot's latest creation, that game is sadly gone.

In its place comes a new Tabula Rasa, a game mixing FPS style fighting with all the RPG goodness you would expect in a game that is still (thankfully) headed by Richard Garriot. In this new Tabula Rasa, players are pitted on the side of the rebels in a war against a xenophobic alien race attempting to take over the galaxy. Players will complete missions in the hope of accomplishing some goal of the Rebels, whether that be taking control of a planet or wiping out a Bane stronghold. Missions are meant to have a direct impact on the war effort, so those who are successful should be able to have a positive effect on the war as a whole.
