Obsidian's Ferret Baudoin has been interviewed about his personal background and NWN2 at NWN 2 News, in the first of an ongoing series of NWN2 dev interviews. Here's a snippet:
What, if any, games have you worked on in the past?

In QA I’ve worked on dozens of titles. In development I’ve worked as a designer on Mechwarrior 4: Black Knight, Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries, and Knights of the Old Republic 2 – The Sith Lords. I also worked on Baldur’s Gate 3 and Fallout 3 before they were cancelled. *sigh*
