An interview with Dan Bisson from Neocell Factory, Producer & Creative director of 'Resonance' is online at TeamXBox.

Here's a bit:
When and how did you come up with the idea for Resonance? How did the idea for a survival horror RPG come about?

Daniel B: This I must say is a very good question. It first came out as a dark fantasy action/RPG. As I'm reputed to have a twisted imagination when it comes to storytelling, I wrote a gruesome synopsis of the story and people thought that this would be our game. We had Gregory (our marketing guy) do a market analysis on a Survival Horror/RPG/Action place on the game console market and at the light of this we decided to do an RPG/ Survival Horror. Why the Renaissance time period? We knew at that time that it would be set in a Renaissance (not to be confused with Resonance) kind of gothic setting. We thought that it was a period in history that has never been exploited in games before and we also thought that it had a lot of things to offer to a Survival Horror. That's when the Inquisition and the witches came in and we developed it into an epic battle between science & religion.
