They are quite happy with the game, actually, rating it 79/100, and coming to this conclusion: Grandia II is a fun game. No, it won't salve an itching for complex, Baldur's Gate-like role-playing games. And yes, the controls could surely be a bit less labor intensive. Nevertheless, those who enjoy an Asian role-playing game will no doubt enjoy Grandia II. The game mixes a solid story, good-looking visuals, and a challenging combat system into an enjoyable package of fun
