RPGDot Game Rating Machine

Pete has rated the following games:

Alien Logic - Skyrealms of Jorune: 1/10 points

sucks

Arx Fatalis: 10/10 points

Great Game!

Dark Age of Camelot: 8/10 points

Great game, I was addicted at the beginning, but with time I lost intreat, totally. Now I have to wait for the Next generation of MMORPGs.

Elder Scrolls 2 - Daggerfall: 10/10 points

Played this one 'till my fingers bled, only had one problem due to bugs and that was an npc not responding upon a quest completion. My favorite pc game of all time.

Gothic 2 - Die Nacht des Raben: 10/10 points

The new game sounds and looks good. Well new to non germans. anyway, i thought gothic 1 and two were brilliant, but one thing annoyed me. Deigo. he was real cool in the first game, but now they have given him spastic texas farmer accent, and i want it seen too that if an english version of Night of the Raven comes out, deigo has the his cool gothic 1 accent. lol

Neocron: 10/10 points

Best online game i've ever played.

Ultima Underworld 1 - The Stygian Abyss: 10/10 points

I still think that this is quite simply the best game ever made. Underworld manages to get the balance between intrigue, combat, puzzles, riddles and interesting characters pretty much spot on. It's also still the only game that makes me get a bit nervous when I'm turning a corner. For all the reality graphics and 3D sound of more modern games like Morrowind or Half-Life, neither of them compare on that front. Whilst newer games are of course something excellent to look at and can take place in much larger worlds with more characters, I believe that every RPG designer can learn something from this game.
