Reclamation Gameplay Programmer, Michael Acobas, has been interviewed at Reclamation Warcry about his job and a little about the game:In your Dev journal on the official site, you threw out alot of "teasers", one of them had to do with the new tasking system, can you tell us anymore about that at this time?
I like to think of it as PvP advancement on steroids. I think what we've done is corrected many of the potential weaknesses in the original Underlight tasking system and took it to a whole new level. I'm not going to go into too much detail, but I'll glance over a few things: it is now possible for a teacher to decide how much to reward the student based on the quality of the taskreporting. You can't visit the same teacher too many times in a short period of time. You can't be performing too many tasks at one time, either.
We provided an interface for teachers to save old tasks they've given if they'd like to make similar tasks to ones they've given already. |
