Continuing on with their "Best and Worst of 2004" series, the staff of GameSpot have announced the finalists (and the winner) for each of the different gaming platforms:

(1) For the Best GameCube Game - the finalists included Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, and Tales of Symphonia - the winner was Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.

(2) For the Best PC Game of the Year - the winner was World of Warcraft.

Of the platforms covered, i.e. N-Gage, Gameboy Advance, GameCube, PS2, Xbox and PC - these were the only RPG/MMORPGDot applicable games that made the grade as either finalist and/or winner in their respective category.
