(I still play on my Commodore 64 and I have a 64 bit PC ok?) And this game would rock in any year of the last 20 (including 2006!) It has all the gameplay of those great old games like Star Control, Nova, Mars Saga, Pirates, Colonization, Alpha Centauri and on and on. It stands up to any of the above classics. In fact I can see this game making people look for Star Control 2, investigating games like Mechwarrior and even checking out what those text adventures are all about! This is to free-form RPG'ing that The Longest Journey was to Adventuring. A sign that there are still sensible developers, publishers and gamers out there and that maybe, just maybe we are growning up! :)
