Exarch Interview at RPGVault

Exarch (the game formerly known as Trade Wars but said to be something very different) seems to be an interesting concept. in this interview at RPGVault, Lead Designer David Adams sheds some light on this upcoming MMOARPG (yes, there is an "a" in it):
Jonric: In overview, what is Exarch? What type of game is it, what's the underlying concept, and how is it related to the project you were working on a year ago, Trade Wars: Dark Millennium?

David Adams: In short, Exarch is a massive multiplayer online action RPG, an MMPOARPG - WHEW! If you took a tablespoon of EverQuest, a cup of Diablo, and added some special sauce, you would have a pretty good recipe for Exarch (we can't divulge, at this juncture, the ingredients of the special sauce - but we can tell you that it's roughly relish-based).

Setting-wise, Exarch takes place in a fantasy-future, meaning that there are equal doses of sci-fi and fantasy. On any given street within the Exarch universe, you might see someone walking around in power armor with a rifle slung over their back, and someone else wearing leather armor with a sword at their hip.

As far as Trade Wars is concerned, it's easier to think of Exarch as a completely new game. There is absolutely no tie-in between Trade Wars and Exarch; Exarch is a completely different animal. (Is that clear enough? Trade Wars does not = Exarch.)
