In the video games business, "good old American know-how" dictates that the most effective way for a developer to distribute a game is to find a publisher and/or distributor and let them take care of the marketing and stocking of retail shelves.

But "good old American know-how" doesn't necessarily apply on Reunion Island, situated in the Indian Ocean east of Madagascar off the coast of South Africa. That's where game developer NP Cube is preparing to launch the online game "Dark And Light" in December. And NP Cube intends to do it solo, at least at first.
