Elder Scrolls 3 - Morrowind: 4/10 points |
an empty boring world.Keeps pausing every 10 seconds due to areas being constantly loaded in every 7 steps or so.Except for the male dark elf all the faces look like they were scribbled on by a child.You walk for 15 minutes in real time only to find a 2 room dungeon that you finish in five minutes.The music is boring and plays over and over without being in sequence with what is going on.So i could be in a dungeon and happy music would be playing.All the people say the same things making them seem robotic and not real.The bodies on everybody lack male and female differences with a very anemic half starved look.This kills the am going out to save the buetiful damsel in distress mood big time when the girl looks like a man.The cities are big and boring with nothing to do but walk around in long hallways.They should have made them into dungeons and filled them up with monsters instead.I guess the designers were really limited by the game engine they used and realized it too late when all the things that made Daggerfall and Arena special could not be done for Morrowind.I guess i will wait and hope TES4 delievers the goods that morrowind did not. |
