When the original Dungeon Siege was released, I brought it home and stayed up - watching the sun rise - playing it till 10am the next day. But, I was heavily involved in an MMO at the time and I never got back to it. Then Legends of Aranna came out, but I was heavily involved in the same MMO and didn't play it. That being said, my memories of the game are minimal and vague. Because of this, I can only tell you what I see in Dungeon Siege II, not compare it to its predecessors.
