I came away from my demonstration with a new appreciation for just so many American gamers missed when they ignored the first game in this series. Now, it seems that the second edition has added so much more to the mix. According to reports, it can take up to 60 hours to complete just the main story of the game. If players search for all the side quests and spend time advancing in their chosen profession, add another 50-60 and based on what I've seen so far, if they try to play through the game several times as different classes, then there's a very real possibility they may never come out. That of course, assumes that RPG fans don't make the same mistake of ignoring this title again. Look for the American version of Gothic II to be on shelves in October.
