The long-awaited patch 1.20 for World War II Online went live this week. This patch heralds the new "Battlefield Europe" rebranding of the game for its worldwide release. Although the game had initially been planned for in-store sale at this time, boxed copies are currently only available for pre-order (due in November in Europe, and early next year in the USA). The game is available for download and online activation now, however, at the official site. Long-time WWII Online players will be waiting for you...

Infantry:
- Added new infantry death animations
- Added multiple patch support to infantry avatars
- Added pistol to ATRs
- Audited grenade loadouts

- Despawning while riding in an airplane will no longer give RTB
