The first game was criticized for loading up the first chapter with story and side quests; it started strong but fizzled greatly in the middle, before going out with a bang. This time around the critical events will be spread out evenly and there will be optional quests in every chapter, including many character-specific missions. The story will contain more Forgotten Realms lore, taking you to places like The Wood of Sharp Teeth, encountering groups like the Harpers and the Zhentarim, and meeting strange races like the Kua-Toa.
