Based on the book that coined the phrase Cyberspace and made the internet cool. The graphics could be crude but the story is intriguing. Near the beginning of the game you can even chose to sell your own bodyparts for ca$h. Gameplay is in two parts, "Reality" and "Virtual Reality". Virtual reality is where the real action is sending up virusi and ice, but half the fun is getting there. The one thing that left me scratching my his is the surprise ending which I had to find old cheat docs to confirm I was there. I game similar to Neurmancer out there called Uplink. |

Based on William Gibson's book of the same title.
This game was visually and conceptually waaay ahead of it's time.
An awesome introduction to the genre of cyberpunk which has been waaaay under represented over the years by PC Game publishers and programmers.
Highlights include surfing the matrix and hacking into various systems.
Strong RPG elements and good storyline development which follows Gibson's book fairly well.
A++++ effort! You should definately try to get a hold of this game and check it out sometime. |

i never finished this game but i do remember thinking that it had a very unique game system and unique lookl and interface. it wasn't all about hack-n-slash - it was all about puzzles, big corporations, cyberspace, and money! :) |

Simply awesome! No other game has managed to capture the excitement of trying to battle an AI protecting a database in cyberspace while utilizing your bio implants to give you that extra edge.
And what other game can you implant a 'Cop Talk' skill, enter a donut shop, and acquire secret passwords to the police mainframe? |

Absolutely brilliant game. Some of the best RPG puzzles ever. I still remember the joy of hacking into the coffin motel and erasing my huge bill. Absolutely fantastick. |

Fun adventure game with some great moments- my favorite was learning the social security # of some jerk who kept me out of a place I needed to enter, hacking into a police database, getting a warrant put out on him, and then going back to find him out of the way. Unfortunately, the game as a whole is starting to show its age. |

Awesome cyberpunk RPG/adventure!
Loads of puzzle solving fun.
Horrid graphics for todays standards, however. Loved the triple dimension of this game, real world/online/cyberspace.
