Here's a bit of the info that compares the Culibine to the classes with plasma-based weapons: The Culibine is a little different since she doesn't use armor or conventional weapons. The slots in her left gauntlet are used for modifying her ranged attack and the slots in her right gauntlet are used for modifying her radial attack - while the slots in between the gauntlets are used for amps. Amps - which draw energy from the Culibine as reflected by the amp button - must be slotted and deployed to be used. All slotted amps deploy and retract at the same time by clicking either the Amp button seen in the screenshots below or pressing the deploy key.
