Not much and yet a lot happened at the IWD2 forums:

    About the Recent changes
I have gone through and deleted a number of threads dealing with the recent list of changes that we have implemented in Icewind Dale 2. I want to be clear and say that the decisions to change a very minor number of the rules and features in Icewind Dale 2 were Black Isle's to make.

I think there has been some assumptions on a number of people's part that we were forced to make these changes by Wizards of the Coast. I would like everyone to understand that this is not the case.

Having said that, I do want everyone to understand that we have been working with Wizards of the Coast to make Icewind Dale 2 a truly Third Edition game that is reflective of what Dungeons and Dragons has become. Wizards has been very supportive and has worked with us to solve many of the problems that came up with making the Infinity Engine truly support the Third Edition rules.

    3E Spell Tables in IWD2
In our game, whenever you see a 0 entry (not a - entry) in the table, you get 1 spell. If you have a bonus spell -- lucky you, you get two spells. Hooray for rangers and paladins.
