The mediocre run of reviews for Interplay's Fallout: BoS continues with Netjak's examination resulting in a score of 6.6/10: The PC gaming veteran is fully familiar with the Fallout series, which takes place long after a nuclear holocaust has wiped out all civilizations, and involved one person striding into the nuclear wasteland to make a name for himself and save his people. The game’s fun RPG system, creative cast of characters, open-ended storyline, and dark humor made it an instant hit. Fallout 2 brought more of the same but made it 10 times better. There was also a tactics game, but I didn’t pay enough attention to it to comment. The next foray into the Fallout world is in Brotherhood of Steel, which branches away from its original roots, and is a typical RPG action hack and slash game. While it is not the coveted Fallout 3 that myself and many other fans had hoped for, it was something to tide over the Fallout hunger. Read the full review here. | Source: VGN |
