In a bold move last week, ArenaNet decided to launch its new fantasy-themed MMO, Guild Wars, worldwide – simultaneously.

“We're enormously pleased,” said ArenaNet co-founder and producer Jeff Strain. “It's an enormous step to release it live around the world. It required a lot of work to pull it off and, as far as we know, this is the only game to ever have a simultaneous launch.”
