Neverwinter Nights was originally supposed to be out in winter 2001 as BioWare's Line Producer Keith Soleski confirmed in response to an inquiry of our editor-in-chief Garrett not too long ago (June, 6) when the first rumors of a delay popped up at several websites. Here it is - dated June 6, 2001: Any dates provided by retailers should be taken tongue in cheek, as they seem to be made up on the spot. The best source for information on the projected release of a game is the developers themselves, but even that is usually little more than an educated guess due to the complexity of developing a quality title. Our current target for Neverwinter is this coming winter and so far work is progressing quite smoothly :^) UPDATE: Sorcerer's Place now claims to have info from their "inside sources" saying the game is still on schedule !
