Two new reviews of Pirates of the Caribbean have surfaced: One is up at Khabal Gaming and seems to be for the PC version since XBox reviews are always stated notably and this one isn't. Enough rambling, the review is quite ok with this conclusion while no numeric rating is given:
I wouldn’t say Pirates of the Caribbean is perfect, but then again, no game is. I must admit though, that I had expected more from the game. Perhaps it’s due to the hype of the movie, which is due out in September.

I had originally thought that the game would be very much related to the movie, but to my disappointment, the only thing that connects this game to the movie is Keira Knightley, who does the narration in the game.

The other review is up at Ten One Hundred and agrees with most of the other lukewarm reviews, giving an overall 6/10 and this conclusion:
Pirates of the Caribbean, is not a very friendly game, and requires some time to get used to, and to enjoy. If you are one of the people who would like to get the game, and start playing it right away without any learning curve, don’t buy it. It is a sequel, so it lacks originality, but it leaves an open field for simple RPG / adventure game fans.

If it werent for the horrible controls, repetitive graphic and dialogue, and boring sword fighting which maybe due to Disney's backing of the game, this title would have been a winner and not a run of the mill game in my opinion.
