Mystery from Massive Multiplayer.org, checked with Pete Tyson from Codemasters about the reasons behind the new artist designer diary. As usual he realy got to the bottom of things:
Since when do people at Codemasters actually stop playing CS long enough to write anything down? Any artists part of the Dragon Empires team? How do they rate against the coders?

Well I should tell you it's not CS any more, it's Battlefield 1942 all the way. I'm Kamikaze Calistas in that and specialise in yelling 'Aaaaiiiiiii!' shortly before slamming my plane into other people, planes, the ground, tanks, vehicles etc. But we do dabble in CS still. Our studio soundly beat the Colin McRae studio yesterday in a match which sent us to the top of the office CS league! Anyway, yes, they're all part of the Dragon Empires team, but not the CS team. They suck compared to our coders who make up the majority of the squad. After all, our lead programmer is a national-level pro-type player on our team. Everyone sucks compared to him.
