As this edition includes Ultima Ascension, and we might be facing the next wave of Ultima Ascension players, we decided to publish an early version of our work-in-progress: A complete and up-to-date guide to all aspects of Ultima Ascension. Do we really need another guide to Ultima IX? There are some very detailed walkthroughs available, an extensive Tech Faq, several official patches, as well as some very good unofficial patches, updates and modifications… And that’s where this guide comes in. It covers not only the original game, but also all material produced by Origin or the community since Ascensions release in 1999. In this 'pre-launch' you’ll find an up-to-date installation guide, a gameplay guide and ‘common trouble’ section. And we are proud to present the first few chapters of our walkthrough. Other chapters of this guide are under construction or even non-existent at the present date. We expect to publish the final version December 2004.
