Their review isn't too enthusiastic, rating the game 7.2/10 and coming to this conclusion: Several elements of this game try to offset the graphical beauty of this game and can’t quite do it. Grandia II is remarkable for the look of the program if nothing else. It is a simple game to play, but a delight to look at.
