The second part of UX Ogaming's Jon 'Calandryll' Hanna interview on Ultima X: Odyssey is now available online:
Cheats and hacks are a problem with a lot of MMORPGs, how will it be prevented?
Jonathan: The first way to avoid cheats is to store as little information as possible on the client. Our servers will validate everything from combat, to your progress on a quest, to player trading. It is our goal to make UXO as cheat and hack resistant as possible.

How many servers will there be, and where are they located?
Jonathan: This is undecided at this time. We’ll start figuring out the exact server numbers and locations as we get closer to beta. Our goal is to make sure we have enough servers in the territories we launch in to ensure they don’t get over-crowded – something that has plagued other MMOG launches of late.
