This is pretty funny. Now that the Siege Editor has finally arrived, Microsoft lets us know on the official Dungeon Siege website that you won't be able to use the maps created with it until patch version 1.1. is released. Oh well, as longs as you aren't a mapping genius it might actually take you longer to build a map than till the patch is out. Let's hope that MS gets its act together early next week.

Here's part of the announcement:

Hey Everyone! The beta version of Siege Editor is now available! We had hoped to release a beta of the v1.1 update today as well, but it will not be ready for a few more days. We worked very hard to get the beta out because it is required to run the Siege Editor created maps, but that won’t stop you from diving in and getting a start on your new maps today.
