Games Domain has posted a review of Ascaron's action RPG 'Sacred' awarding the game a score of 8/10.
On the surface, Sacred seems like just another "Diablo clone" (the insanely popular "lite" role-playing game from Blizzard). It isn't. It takes the simplicity of Diablo and adds other RPG concepts to come up with something much deeper. Developed by Ascaron, the European studio behind intricate strategy games Patrician and Port Royale, the studio is good at crafting complex, yet eminently playable games. Sacred fits this mold.
