The Legion of Exile (LE) was founded over two years ago when some members decided to break away from their original guild, Legions of the Dragon, because they were more interested in playing Guild Wars. The split was amicable, and Legion of Exile was born shortly thereafter. LE was built on foundation of principles similar to their former guild, believing that a victory achieved through dishonesty is not a victory at all.

After launching a guild website, which doubles as a fansite, LE members began to receive invitations to join the closed tests. Those who participated in the testing helped playtest the cooperative missions as well as PvP.

In the long term, LE will become a social guild with players taking part in a variety of activities. Those who prefer cooperative play in the missions and explorable areas will assist with supplying the players who prefer to PvP with equipment. LE has a wide variety of members, spanning several generations.
