It is a little bit of rumor mongering, with no real new hard facts, but interesting, nevertheless: Early whispers suggest that combat will feature as heavily in Deus Ex 2 as it did in Deus Ex, and at least one of the original game's enemies will be making a comeback – the ED-290-like military robot. It will be similar in many respects to its predecessor although it's going to be a fair bit bigger – apparently you'll have room enough to run under its legs if you so desire. I'm not sure how sound a strategy that would be though, especially if it decided to sit down for a quick nap. Weapons are also looking promising, as the concept art for the assault gun shows [which you can see below], and this will no doubt be one of many pieces or firepower or hand-to-hand combat devices that you will be able to get hold of.
