NW Vault has a new NWN module review on offer, covering Return of the Champion 1 - Journey to the Capital v1.20. The score is a creditable 7.8/10 and here's a clip:
To sum up a modules attributes, considering its story, style and scripting can provide a good balanced view. The story is strong, detailed and interesting. The author provided an excellent introduction in the Prelude and continues to present his tale in Chapter 1. It is compelling without being overly intricate. Not to say it is simplistic in the least, rather it finds that rare medium where it is at once easily grasped and yet full of surprises. Stylistically, the author shows off his increased proficiency of the toolset. Areas are well done and finely detailed. Some areas perhaps too much so, which caused considerable lag in the initial playthrough (which appeared to be remedied in the subsequent playthrough). Lighting, music and NPCs all lend to the depth. Of course, some minor details remain unfixed (grammatical syntax errors and the like), but in no way deter from the overall gameplay. The scripting is also proficient. What the author has incorporated works well. However, as the author has advanced in his use of scripting, creating more complex situations, minor problems crop up as well. There were a few conversation flow glitches and events that Marsac, as a Paladin, just did not feel comfortable in, but was compelled to participate in as he had no choice. Overall though, the author has done well in providing a module that has now become a very good quality series.
