Many American MMORPG players have never heard of Lineage, the smash hit massive multiplayer game that has swept Asia. It's got relatively simplistic graphics, all played in a 2D top-down perspective, that many players on this side of the Pacific would find downright ugly. It has stood the test of time in Asia, though, with literally millions of regular subscribers playing at internet cafes throughout all of east Asia.
