Ahh, adventure games. If ever a genre has managed to become written-off only to experience a rebirth while at the same time completely resisting the vigorous force of technological change, it’s that of point-and-click adventure. Then again, the role of adventure games has always been that of creating rich and convincing worlds while sidestepping the very technological limitations that most 3D games face. We recently had a chance to play an almost complete version of Moment of Silence, which uses the now standard combination of 3D characters and pre-rendered environments.
