The staff over at Quandary have the latest word re the 2005 Interactive Fiction Competition going on right now...

"The 2005 Interactive Fiction Competition, the competition for short text adventures, is underway again. Not familiar with the competition? It's a yearly event for short text adventures, playable in two hours or less. You can download the games, play them, and rate them.
