The Neverwinter Vault has reviewed 'Some Distant Shore', a fan-made module for BioWare's 'Neverwinter Nights'. Rating: 8.5/10.
Played with: lvl 1/12/9 Mage/Rogue/Arcane Archer
Time played: about two hours, with no level gains
Rest: limited to certain locations
Death: no respawning allowed
XP: given for quests and combat, very slow progression

Ever since the HotU expansion pack was released, the community has been awaiting modules that take advantage of its new features, most notably the support for epic characters. So far, not that many epic-level modules seem to have been released (or at least not many good ones) but gradually some more modules intended for ridiculously powerful 20+ level characters seem to start appearing. One of these modules is "Some distant shore" by veteran module builder Chris Huntoon.
