Final Fantasy 12: Coming in 2nd Half of 2003?

Not even sure what 'Final Fantasy XII' is all about. A sequel to the online-only MMORPG 'Final Fantasy XI' or a new installment in the single player 'Final Fantasy' franchise?
Anyway, thanks to Petr Smejc for the following:
Square Enix announced FF XII will be released in 2. half of fiscal year 2003, what seems to be this year's Christmas season - we talk about Japan, of course.
