GamerDad has posted a review of 'KnightShift' ('Once Upon A Knight' in NA). Rating: 3/5.
Once Upon a Knight is a cute little RPG and real time strategy(RTS) hybrid. The basic engine is an RTS that doesn’t take itself too seriously. The main resource to gather is milk, produced by roaming cows, and one of the more advanced units is the mother-in-law which can “inspire” other units to increase their performance. An entire second section of the game is RPG campaign that fits along side the RTS campaign plot. The RPG uses the same engine as the strategy game, a single main character is controlled. This character can gain experience and equipment, and is eventually joined by other individual units that can also gain experience and equipment over time.
