RPGVault continues the E3 round-up they started yesterday, bringing you brief impressions from various games. Today, amongst others, you'll find paragraphs about Pirates of the Caribbean, Dark & Light, Iritor Online (haven't heard a lot about this upcoming MMORPG lately) and Etherlords 2, from which our excerpt is taken:
Developer Nival and publisher Strategy First were showing off a potential sleeper. The first game, an unusual turn-based strategy game with collectible card game-style elements plus a few hints of RPG, was well received by those who played it. The sequel substantially raises the role-playing quotient by implementing features such as character persistence through the course of the campaign. As well, the graphics this time seem brighter, livelier and more detailed. Etherlords II looks like a strong title. If it can attract more attention, it could be a sales success as well. |
