RPGVault has scored an interview with David Allen, former mastermind of Horizons, about his new projects. Pharaoh Production is his new company, and he's working on a yet unnanounced new project, entitled Project-X, as well as on Universe and a third one named Fade. The interview doesn't give away a lot, but one thing you can smell for sure: some bitterness about how things evolved with Horizons:
Ulairi: Now that you're no longer with Artifact, what are your hopes and fears about the Horizons Project?
David Allen: I've really moved on and am now focusing solely on Pharaoh and our new products.
Then he talks about the three projects currently under development there:
David Allen: PROJECT-X is Pharaoh's first official project that will be released. That is not the true name of the project - it's just that we decided not to release the name of the project as of yet. Design on PROJECT-X has already begun, and we should have some cool information to share shortly. FADE is a product that Pharaoh is picking up from a company in France - more details will be made available shortly.
UNIVERSE is the flagship and pinnacle product of Pharaoh. It is the next evolution in on-line gaming. It is completely different from anything that currently exists on the market, or is currently in development. It's a massive project that will take years to complete, but work has already begun on it. We should be releasing some preliminary information on UNIVERSE shortly. |
