EDBIS has posted its review of the 'Bloodmoon' expansion pack for 'Morrowind'. Rating: 86%. Thanks, Corax.
The drawbacks of the expansion are pretty much the same as the base game, with the exception of story. You still need a mid to high end machine with a good amount of RAM along with a good video card in order to get a decent frame rate, unless you play on the game on minimal settings. Let me tell you this, there is no point in playing Morrowind on the minimal settings. The game relies on its graphical power to immerse the player and it just doesn't do the job on minimal settings. The controls are still a bit quirky, especially if you hit a frame lag and some graphical effects, particularly spell effects, are quite lackluster in comparison to the rest of the game.
